    It is amazing how much I take for granted - what's scary is that I'm much more aware than the average person on the street (not bragging, promise, just been talking to some very naive people recently)

    this is an excellent quote, Jake... Teddy Roosevelt is one of my favorite Americans, he was the consumate "talk the talk/walk the walk" kind of guy... (ever read Theodore Rex? it's a phenomenal book & i highly recommend it)

    shamrock- WWTD... lol. Yeah, Teddy was the man. I think he's pretty much my hero.

    neva- a fellow Teddy fan? the hits just keep on coming with you don't they? no, i haven't read Edmund Morris's part 2 of TR's biography, but I have read his Pulitzer Prize winner, The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt. I need to go ahead and knock Part II out too. My favorite is a book with his personal letters to his sons, I can't remember the exact title, but emm just read it and she can vouch for its quality as well. I'll shoot you an email if you're interested in checking it out.

    It's sweet of you to ask! He's doing really well, was just awarded a bright new shooting badge for his dress blues. Trying to figure out all kinds of immigration and housing information - it's tons of fun.
