Thanks Jack- good to know I'm not alone in the abyss of the internet. None of my buddies in the Q course even know what a blog is, much less write on one. Your pics of the NG intubation are classic, I'll definitely have to include a link to them as we weren't allowed to bring our cameras out back. I'll be reading...
Fastest Squirrel... Northern Virginia eh? That destination is my aspiration after SF. Quite a difficult place to be a part of from what I hear from the whispers.
Hi Rick! Found your blog from JackArmy--good stuff! A good buddy of mine is going through the 18D course right now too; you guys have some great stories. Thank you for your service, and for sharing your experiences!
I admire what you're doing, Rick. I hated it! No desire to practice medicine, then or now, but I really respect those that do. There is just too much to remember and too much can and does go wrong.
Hey Rick found you through Jack Army, you're doing what I'm probably going to be doing next year, either 18D or 18E depending on what's needed. Good luck with the training and thanks for your serivce.
Bring it on man. You better hurry though, word on the street is Recruiting is about to stop the 18x program. This just means you'll have to volunteer as soon as you get to your unit. Let me know if you have any questions about anything, I'm more than happy to help.
I like to vent via the written word so this is my arena to voice my opinions, thoughts, and stories to myself, friends, and the world. Enjoy my blog, and if you wish to opine, please comment...

Good blog, Rick. Found you through Andi's World (http://andisworld.typepad.com/welcome_to_andis_world/2005/08/new_blog.html).
Anyway, former SF guy with way too much time on my hands.
